"Are you courting anyone?"

Today I spoke with my great aunt on the telephone. She's sweet, kind, and I'm very bless to have her as an aunt. She older and very proper, and politely asks, "May I ask you dear, if your courting anyone?". I told her that I wasn't, and she gave me this wise piece of advice, "That's okay, when the times comes pick a good man because you may one day end up marrying him." So to all those single men and women, take my great aunts advice, pick a good one. Thanks Aunt Pearl!

"Spiritual Gifts you say . . ."

You know how you can listen to a preacher and you just click with them, the way that they are preaching fits so well with the way that you think, and everything they preach make sense. A couple of individuals come to mind when I think of these types of teachers, Ed Neufeld (what a blessing it was to be in his classroom), and Charles Stanley.

Last week, I watched Charles Stanley sermon on Spiritual Gifts on television and it was just, amazing! I think that I have learned alot more about myself and others and the blessings of spiritual gifts through this sermon. If you would like to get a better idea of who you are as a person according to your spiritual gifts, check out this website http://www.intouch.org (Click on InTouch TV, then previous studies). Charles presents the strengths and weakeness to each gifts. Strengths of walking in the spirit and weaknesses of walking outside of the spirit and how this will effect you and your spiritual gifts. Very insightful, oh and there's also a survey to help better define your spiritual gifts.

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

The delightful day of Love. Happy Valentine's Day to each and every one of you. This day brings me back to fond memories of my younger years as a child celebrating Valentine's Day. Not sure if you share the same memories as myself, but this is what I remember . . .

I remember that I would wear a red or pink outfit to school. And prior to the actual date the class would make Valentine's Day envelopes out of brown paper bags with hearts pasted on top of them. And the teacher would make goodies and the class would have a Valentine's Day party together, but just before the party would begin the teacher would announce that it is now time to go around and distribute your V-Day cards to all your classmates. Oh my, what fun that was . . . Here's to a happy Valentine's Day to all of you!!
